Portrait of Justin Adams

About me

I've always loved music. At ten years old, I started playing hand percussion in a family band with my dad and siblings (I'm one of seven!). Over the years, I've also learned to play guitar, piano, and bass. Whenever I spot a new instrument, I have to try it out—one of the most unique has been the hurdy-gurdy.

As I got older, my focus shifted to composing film music (for any music nerds wondering, I primarily used an old 1990s digital Alesis keyboard recorded into Cubase). I entered an EDM phase next and jumped over to FL Studio (wub-wub-wub). I was happy with the music I was creating, but I knew something didn't sound right... That's when I discovered audio engineering. I obsessively started learning how to mix and master, and Studio One quickly became my DAW of choice.

For 10+ years, I've focused on audio engineering—the last 5 of which I've concentrated on mastering. If you're interested in collaborating, I'd love to hear about your current projects and help you get your songs sounding exactly how you envision them!
